Botchat Terms of Use

1. Access to the Service

  • You're responsible for your internet connection and device.
  • Access may be interrupted for maintenance or technical issues.

2. Permitted Use & Restrictions

  • You get a personal, non-transferable license to use Botchat.
  • Don't misuse Bots, reverse engineer the app, or use it to build competitors.
  • Bots can be inaccurate or outdated — don't rely on them in emergencies.
  • Must be 18+ or 13+ with parental consent.

  • You're responsible for your account's security and accuracy.
  • We may suspend or delete your account for violations.

5. Your Content

  • You own your prompts and outputs ("Your Content").
  • We can use Your Content to run and improve the Service.
  • You're responsible for what you create and share.

6. Submitted Content

  • Don't post harmful, illegal, or misleading content.
  • You grant us and other users a license to use your public content.
  • We may remove anything that violates these Terms.

7. Feedback & Ideas

  • If you send us unsolicited ideas, we can use them freely without compensation.

8. Intellectual Property

  • Botchat owns the rights to the platform and branding.
  • Don't use our trademarks or copyrighted materials without permission.

9. DMCA Policy

  • To report copyright violations, email support@botchat.ai with proper documentation.
  • You may also submit a counter-notice if content was wrongly removed.

10. Indemnity

  • You agree to cover any legal issues we face due to your misuse of the Service.

11. Warranty Disclaimer

  • The Service is provided "as is" with no guarantees of performance or accuracy.

12. Limitation of Liability

  • We're not liable for indirect damages; our maximum liability is $100.

13. Termination

  • We may terminate your access anytime for violations or technical reasons.

  • These Terms are governed by California law.

16. Dispute Resolution

  • Disputes will be resolved via individual arbitration in Los Angeles, CA.
  • No class actions allowed.

  • New Jersey residents may be exempt from certain disclaimers.

  • You can't assign your rights under these Terms.
  • If a clause is invalid, the rest still applies.

19. Changes

  • We can update these Terms anytime. Continued use means you accept the updates.
